This cruise took Ma and I from San Juan to St. Croix, St. Barth (Barthelemy, Barts), Guadeloupe, St. (Sint) Maarten (Martin), and St. Thomas. What cruise ship sailing the Caribbean doesn't visit St. Thomas? The cruise was from December 11, 1993 to December 18th on the Sun Viking, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. |

Left - view as we entered the harbor of St. Barth. Right - The airport. To land the planes come in over a busy road, and then go over a small hill to make their landing on a small strip. Incredible. |

Left - View of St. Maarten via a postcard. Right - The front of the Sun Viking. A small but comfortable ship. |
Left - A postcard of the famous St. Thomas harbor. Photograph by Don Hebert. Right - The Stella Solaris leaving St. Thomas. It was nice to see the ship that I had sailed on to Brazil once more! |

April 19, 2020 - I began cleaning out my closets a while back since I decided to rent the small room of my apartment to a friend. I had to shift things around which had been stored in the closets to make space. In so doing, I decided to get rid of the many photo albums I had stored in the foyer closet. Damn, I did not know I had that many photo albums. Before shredding the photos/postcards and souvenirs, I looked at them and decided to keep a few. I will post what I saved and scanned on various pages. Some photos and postcards may be posted on other pages. Everything posted will be as scanned without adjusting the photo for color, clarity, etc. What you see is what you get. Watermark will not be added. No kallaloo here, just simplicity. Below are the photos/postcards/souvenirs being added. Keep in mind, some may be duplicates. Enjoy!!! |

Talk about an airport. The taxi van we were in had to stop as the plane was landing. We were on a hill. The plane flew over the van, immediately dropped a few feet and then landed. |
