The Olympics were held in Barcelona in 1992.    At right is the field where the opening ceremonies were held.

The Iberia flight from Barcelona to Madrid was like no other.  The flight lasted about an hour and a half.  
In that time, there was a fashion show, sale of goods, and a meal was served.  Items like cigarettes, liquor
and jewelry were being sold on board.  There was an accompanying catalog that described the items being
sold.  The meal was served with real utensils, nothing plastic.  Each seat had a small screen on the seat in
front with headphones.  One had a choice of watching a movie, music videos, and/or informational videos
about Spain and other parts of the world.  I thought I was in coach.  I kept looking back but noticed that the
plane only had one class.  Everyone in the Iberia flight was given the same treatment.  Incredible!  We
landed in Madrid without having seen the end of the movie!  I thought to myself, "Gee, I wouldn't mind
flights like this in the USA!"  In my dreams!!

April 19, 2020 - I began cleaning out my closets a while back since I decided to rent the small room of my apartment  
to a friend.  I had to shift things around which had been stored in the closets to make space.  In so doing, I decided
to get rid of the many photo albums I had stored in the foyer closet.  Damn, I did not know I had that many photo
albums.  Before shredding the photos/postcards and souvenirs, I looked at them and decided to keep a few.
I will post what I saved and scanned on various pages.   Some photos and postcards may be posted on other
pages.  Everything posted will be as scanned without adjusting the photo for color, clarity, etc.  
What you see is what you get.  Watermark will not be added.  No kallaloo here, just simplicity.
