Here are the photos taken in October 2014. There is a little of everything - strawberries, flowers, views from my terrace, photos taken during trip to Shady Maple, Brooklyn Heights, other views of Brooklyn, the Columbus Day Parade, the harbor area close to Brooklyn Bridge, and views as I walked over the Manhattan Bridge. Enough photos to keep you busy for at least 2 minutes! Photos are not in date order.

I worked in building that was previously on this corner, Dr. White Community Center. The bottom portion is part of the original building, which is being converted into an apartment building.
The area has really been developed, like the rest of New York City. There are many new residential buildings and businesses. Keep in mind that during the 70s the area was mostly Hispanics and Blacks. Seeing whites in the area was rare, other than the nuns at the Center. Today it appears there are more whites and Asians than Blacks and Hispanics.
I took the F train to York Street and walked around the area. The following photos were taken during that walk.

On the 30th, I decided to ride A train to High Street, Brooklyn and explore the area. I walked Old Fulton Street, Water Street, etc, and then headed for the Manhattan Bridge.
