This is called the Christmas Penn-Dutch Tour.  Instead of having lunch at the
Good 'N Plenty Restaurant, we eat at an Amish home.  The food is a little different to
what is served at the restaurant but still very tasty!  We took the tour with
L & M Tours.

We visited the Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market, had lunch, toured the farms, and then visited the
National Christmas Center in Paradise, PA, before heading back home.  Here are a few photos taken
with my Canon PowerShot S5 IS.  Photos in previous pages were taken with an HP Photosmart R817.

The National Christmas Center features Christmas decorations, toys, etc, from past and present plus
a recreation of Bethlehem, the Manger, etc.
Santa masks & boots from different periods.
Remember the bubbling Christmas lights?

Chapter 2 of the story of Tudor Towne, where
individuals were trying to stop Christmas from taking
place.
In this room, you have to imagine standing UNDER
a Christmas Tree!  Also the next 2 photos.
Here I took the photo of the same house using two different settings.  The one to the left, I used the night setting
while with the one on the right I used the automatic setting.
These two photos were taken with the automatic setting.  The one on left, I used the light
found in and around the display while the one to the right, I used the flash.

A doll maker.  The person at the sewing machine looks
real, right?  The hands, feet and face of some displays
are made using live subjects to create the molds.
Part of the tour group.  Photo taken by the bus driver, Mr. Wong.  The Tour Guide,
Mr. Qua, can be seen stooping to right of bench.  I am top center, Maria is to the right
just in front of the OPEN sign.  Photo sent to me in a Christmas card by L&M Tours.
