Coney Island - Page CC

The future of Astroland is uncertain. These photos were taken the afternoon of
August 16, 2008.  The Wonder Wheel and the Cyclone will be preserved and most
probably moved to another location in the area.
At the train station - Stillwell Avenue

Coney Island on July 5, 2011.  A little smaller but a few new rides.  Part of the boardwalk is now bricks instead of board.

On my way home, I stopped at Neptune Avenue & Delancey Street to take photos of the artwork at these two stations.

Delancey Street.  An orchard?  Not too far is Orchard
Street.  Area did once have an orchard!
Is there still a fish market in the area?
Less light in this area but flash not used therefore
the tiles look a little darker.

A poster on F train and on most subway cars.  Poster is what looks like 3
subway cars under polluted water. (Hudson River?)   Car's have fish shape
and are running over what looks like an electric eel as the 3rd rail.  Below is
the same poster as 3 separate photos since this one came out blurry.
