Queen Street
Legislature and other government offices.
Park on Lagoon Street between King and Queens Streets
Ann E. Heyliger Vegetable Market
Johnny Belardo, Nilsa's father, once had a store here.
It is said that for a while we lived in an apartment in the
back of store.
Steinmann family lived here.  
Custom House and Queen Streets
These are "newer" structures.   East side of Queen
Street.  At one time various homes stood in this
location.  Some were one story others two.
Miguel Garcia once had a liquor store
here.  Was also once a grocery store.
Here once stood a two story structure.  Downstairs
was a store, first operated by the Gomez family.  
They lived upstairs.
Wasn't green structure Kano's meat market?
The Nielsen family lived here. Lilac flowers possibly
Petrea volubilis - Purple wreath or Queen's wreath
The Emile Henderson Sr. Fire Station
What's left of what was once a home.  Corner of Queen

The Clarke family lived here
The Apothecary Hall - our first drug store.  At the time,
it was our ONLY drug store!  See plaque below.
The Allick family lived here.
The Benjamin family lives/lived here.
What's left of what was once a beautiful
home.  The Martin family lived here.

It was the first post office I knew.

lived here.  For most part has been a bar.

Almeric Cummings Recreation & Youth Facility
(Triangle Park).  Where Queen and King Streets meet.  
King is on the right.

People lived there.  In the back there were more homes.
Not too wide but deep.
