Salt Lake City continued.  The following photos were taken in the North Visitor Center.

The Optional Tour offered in Salt Lake City was Dinner at the Lion House Pantry with a
tour of the
Beehive House (once Brigham Young's homes) and gardens.
The gardens were beautiful and the food was delicious!

We had a guide give us a tour of the gardens, pointing out flowers as we walked and
explaining buildings in the area, etc.  After the garden tour we were given a tour of the
houses and then had dinner.

Optional Tours were offered at an additional fee in most locations and were beyond what
was scheduled and already paid for.

Every morning the routine would be similar.
Buffet breakfast was usually at 6 a.m.,
luggage had to be in or out of room by 7 or 8,
and we'd leave by 8 or 9.

Every day, we'd make stops along the way.
Once in the next destination, the Tour Director
would explain things to us as we drove to
the hotel.  In larger cities, we'd take a tour of the
city before going to the hotel.

We left Salt Lake City on June 20th and headed for
Jackson, Wyoming.

Why A.D. 33?  I can only surmise it's because
it is alleged Christ died in A.D. 33.  Some say the
crucified was on April 3, 33 A.D.

dinner, Lift Restaurant.  The ski slope can also be seen
