Two Trips Taken in October 2010 - Page EEE

On October 9, 2010, Elton and I took a one day trip to the Sugar Loaf Art Festival.
The festival was not what we expected.  The vendors took up about 2 to 3 city blocks on the
main street of the village.  Due to this we felt that spending 2-3 hours at the Festival was
enough.  We arrived at 11:30 a.m. and departed at 5 p.m.  This tour would have been better
had
L & M added a second stop.

The street where most vendors were located.  Most
homes also contained businesses.  A few areas were
marked with numbers but no vendor at the spot.

On October 24, María and I visited Jim Thorpe, PA.  This one-day trip was to also include a Fall
Festival but for some reason the festival was not  held this year.  There was enough to do and
see without the festival.  The village is very quaint and was very crowded with visitors.  This trip
was also with
L & M Tours.

Don't know what happened to the photos
I took of the mansions.  They showed up
in an unidentified format so I could not
view or post them on this page.
