Penn-Dutch & Flowers on Terrace - Page SS

Maria, Elton and I took another day trip to Penn-Dutch with L & M Tours.  Due to the number of
passengers this tour consisted of two buses.  The day was chilly but not cloudy or raining.  The farms
were clearly visible from all angles since there is not much growing.  The remaining corn was being
turned into fodder for the cattle and hay (alfalfa) was being cut and stored.
The dining room, which was filled to capacity!
Could have used another camera setting.

Sunset.   This farm can be seen from the parking lot in Kitchen Kettle.  I think I have photographed this farm on
most of my visits to the area.  If you look closely at the closeup photo on the right, you will see the cows going
into the barn.  Are they going to rest or to be milked?

Flowers on my terrace.  The marigolds for some reason did not do well in the summer.
However, in the fall they began to bloom nicely.

When I first visited Good 'N Plenty, the house on
the right was the only restaurant!  The building on
the left did not exist.
