Hobbies - Page GGG

The two fish tanks (aquariums) I have.  The black one is 10 gallons, the one with the Bettas is 5 gallons.
I had 2 males (long fins) and bought a female to try to breed them.  It appears I was sold a "wild type" male as
a female.  I placed the fancy male Bettas in the tank with the "female" on a rotating basis.  This "female" ended up
killing the younger male and damaged the fins of the older one.  Turns out I had 2 males in the 5 gallon tank
without knowing it.  Two males cannot be placed in the same tank 'cause they fight.   Bettas are also called
Siamese Fighting Fish.  After the younger male was killed, I placed the older male back in the 10 gallon tank.
Here you can see: 1. Male guppy  2.  Neon Tetra (three of them)   3.  Glow Fish
4.  Pleco, catfish    5.  Older male Betta

Two Betttas in 5 gallon tank.
This Betta was sold to me as a female but turned out to be a "wild type" male.
Male Betta before the other male bit off a lot of his fancy fins.
Had to separate them.

I have been putting together jigsaw puzzles from 500 pieces to 1000.  Once done, I take them apart and give them
to a friend for his grandmother who is in a nursing home.  Below are a few I have completed.
Keukenhot Gardens,
The Netherlands,
500 pieces
Trevi Fountain,
500 pieces
New York Skyline,
500 pieces
Waits River, Vermont
500 pieces
Albuquerque
Balloon Fiesta,
750 pieces
Wildflowers, Mt. Rainier,
750 pieces
Most difficult to date.

The puzzle above was difficult to complete because I could not find a "rhythm".  After I completed the mountain,
area around the mountain and the sky everything else was basically the same colors (green, lilac, yellow, pink and
green).  The puzzle below, even though it is 1000 pieces, had a "rhythm".  After completing the path, it was easy to
complete the castle, plants, flowers, trees and sky.  Even though there were many like colors it was easy to follow
the "flow" of the photo.  The one below took me less time to complete!
Windsor Castle
Old Mill, Little Rock
Falling Water

Update, August 2013 - I am presently only using the 10 gallon tank.  The fishes in the tank are not the same as
shown in the first photo above.  I continue to complete puzzles though I am not posting to this page.
A puzzle of a Native American boy can be seen on
Page VVV.
Two other puzzles can be seen on the bottom of Page HHHH.
