June 21st was a wet and cloudy day. By the time we arrived at Mohonk Mountain House the rain had stopped. The sun came out from behind the clouds a few times. The grounds were incredibly beautiful. The buffet lunch was great and so was the entertainment. We walked to the Sky Top Tower and was able to get a fantastic view of the area, though it was a bit cloudy. It is said that one can see Pennsylvania and New Jersey to the south, Connecticut and Massachusetts to the east and Vermont to the northeast. Mohonk Mountain House is located in the Shawangunk Mountains in New Paltz, NY. This tour was with L & M Tours. |
