October, September, August, July, November and December 2020 - DDDDDD |
July 29, 2020 - Beginning with this page, I will post the photos differently. I will post the photos in descending order by month. This month, I will post July photos on top. In August, I will move July's photos down and post August's photos on top. Every month, I will do that. Why? This way, when I tell my viewers I have posted new photos, they will NOT have to bypass all the "old" photos to get to the "new" ones. Like the idea? Let me know. And it's not difficult to do. All I have to do is Ctrl + click on photos and drag them down as a group! |
The following photos were taken July 4th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 24th and 27th. They include photos of a falcon, moon, rain, and falcon chick (eyas or hatchling). |
Why are you taking my photo? A real New York falcon would say, "WTF you looking at?" |
Regular shots of the moon. It was 4:36 p.m. when I saw the moon in the sky. The last two photos were taking using a different setting. |

2020 - What a year! Pandemic. Political unrest. Social unrest. Racial unrest. Lock down. Pause. Shelter in place. Social distancing. No hand shaking. Masks. Many people infected. Many people died, mostly people of color. A new strain of the virus has arrived. A president who feels COVID does not exist. COVID is a hoax, created by Democrats to make him look bad. Did COVID cause him to lose the election? We were spared from a dictator wanna be. Then there was the president vs a doctor. The president could not grasp the science. Similar to him not wanting to understand global warming. I asked a neighbor why he wore no mask. He said he's not a Democrat. WTF. Instead of being in this together, we are far apart. The president did not win a second term and challenges the results. Sore loser. Case after case thrown out of court. He was represented by loony lawyers. Many of the loser's friends, who had been charged with a crime, have been pardoned. Long lines at stores. At times hard to find toilet paper and/or paper towel and other products. Businesses shut down due to lack of customers, many bankrupt. With so many stores closing, what will become of malls? Instead of eating in, we ate outside or ordered food to be delivered or picked up. No 4th of July celebration. No Mermaid Parade. No West Indian Day Parade. No Macy's Day Parade. No Times Square end-of-year celebration. No Military parades. Every celebration now virtual. Though warned against traveling, many did so during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Has it caused many more to get infected? Pfizer and Moderna vaccines released, distributed and administered. How much will they help? To all those who died in 2020, may they RIP. If only we could do away with 2020!! GOD help us all. Will 2021 be any better? We can only hope. Wishing and hoping!! Happy, healthy and better 2021 to all. Life goes on. |
