June 14th - A rally on the steps of the public library on 5th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. From there we marched to 63rd Street and Park Avenue where Governor Cuomo was. The following photos taken with the J7 Samsung cell phone.

June 16th - Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Summerstage: Kool and the Gang performing with Roxanne as MC. I have no idea who is who in the group. They still sound great.

June 24th - I took the 7 a.m. Megabus to Washington D.C. and spent the day mostly in the National Mall with my friend Norwin. I left D.C. at 7 p.m. Trip each way takes about 4 hours. It was a sunny, hot and humid day. Here are the photos I took.

Before we left 34th Street in Manhattan, it rained. I sat in seat two (reserved), right behind windshield, top deck.

Left - Reminded me of the desks used when I went to school. Our desks were nailed to a 2x4. Desks could not be moved individually.

Metro, Red Line. Platforms/staions are air conditioned. Lights at the edge of platform floor flash when train entering station.

My friend Norwin. He was my tour guide for the day. It was great spending the day with him! Here we were in the Johnny Rockets restaurant in Union Station.

Update, 08/27/20 - In 2019, the rent laws were changed, mostly to the benefit of the tenants. Landlords were not too happy.
